How to Use

Which devices support scanning to connect?: Most modern smartphones support WiFi QR codes natively: iOS 11+ (point the Camera app at the QR code), Android 10+ (use the Camera app or Settings), and many Android 9 devices via the WiFi settings menu. Some older devices may require a third-party QR scanner app.
Will my WiFi password be stored or uploaded?: No — the QR code is generated entirely in your browser. Your SSID and password are never sent to any server. The QR code encodes the credentials locally and everything stays on your device.
What encryption types are supported?: The tool supports WPA/WPA2 (the most common home and office security type), WEP (older, less secure), and open networks (no password). WPA3 networks are typically backward-compatible with WPA2 QR codes.
