What is an aspect ratio?: An aspect ratio is the proportional relationship between an element's width and height, expressed as W:H. For example, 16:9 means for every 16 units of width there are 9 units of height. It's used to ensure consistent proportions when scaling images, videos, or UI elements.
How do I scale while preserving the aspect ratio?: Enter the known dimension in the scale section — the tool automatically calculates the other dimension using the ratio. This prevents distortion when resizing images or videos to fit different screen sizes or containers.
